New improved Gunting

I have heard it mentioned several times here in this forum that the new Gunting is a vast improvement over the old version.

Since I do not have the advantage of looking or having the new one, I do not know what are the new improvements made to this model.

Frankly, I like this particular Spyderco. It is a meanie! Full of possibilities in all kinds of tricky situations.

Can somebody give me a brief rundown on how the new Gunting excels over the old one?

I guess you guys could go read the other thread on the improved,
re-engineered Gunting..then I wouldn't have to type this again..ROFL..

There's no eccentric pin..
the tolerances are tweaked..
The anvil pin is as it should be..freaking hardened and able to take abuse...
the angle of the lock bend is exacting..should be after all this time in hand testing!!! its GREAT..locks up fast 'n tight
S30V steel..
Grippy..very grippy G10...

did I mention like really spyderco sharp?

Its very Gunting...

PJ did a great job on the Re Engineering...
Spyderco did a great job putting it together..
