Sorry if the pictures aren't the greatest. I've got a lousy camera and am a lousy photographer, but I'm trying to get a bit more artistic with my knife shots, since the same boring photo of a knife leaning against a bottle of scotch is getting a bit repetitive.

Plus I can't pour another glass if there's a knife leaning against it. :thumbdn:

If you noticed my sandstorm SJTAC up for sale, and were wondering why I was getting rid of it, when I keep saying I love the SJTAC design so much, well here's your answer....

Because I got another, even sexier, SJTAC to replace it  :D

GORGEOUS work on this one - one of the best looking Busse's I've ever handled, let alone owned. Thanks to the Ohio gang for producing this awesome blade and getting it into my hands. I'm even OK with the fact that it's thick :D

Those are some great pics, give yourself credit!

Can't wait for mine to get here, that is one hot looking knife.

So how does it compare to a standard SJTAC with the saber grind on it? is the balance the same?

Wow, very nice!

I think the SJTAC just jumpped up to #4 on my list of Busses I have to hunt down.

The balance is slightly more towards the blade, as would be expected. The full flat CG version balances about a quarter to a half of an inch behind the tube fastener, while the smooth bolt balances right on the peak of the hand smoothed flare in the handle, in near the center of the bolt.

Just measured up the rest of the stats on the new SJTAC.

The smooth bolt is saber ground, .215 at the ricasso, and weighs 444 grams

The thinner CG is almost a full flat, .203, and 421 grams.

So not much of a difference at all.

I don't even like the SJTACs, but those smooth-bolt ones from the show are HOT.

oh how I wish I'd have gotten one of the HHs, or two. I'm dangerously close to regret.

nice knives, and photos MM.

I had one of the FSH's in my hand, and it was a thing of beauty. I didn't want to let it go, but it was one expensive blade. The SJTAC just feels right in smooth bolt, though. Love it!

I think thats the nicest looking Busse I have ever seen.

I think Busse should do those simple handles and smooth bolts on all of their knives - its just simplistic perfection!

Enjoy it man

Those are some nice pics.

And those smooth bolts are really AWESOME!
Make me wish I pulled the trigger on one of those. :o

Congrats on a cool blade!!
