After being without new INFI in the past 4 years and having just my lonely Active Duty to keep me company as a Busse EDC, my lust for new steel has finally been sated. The TGLB with competition finish and green/black G10 grips arrived this morning and has made my year; what a blade! It's lighter in the hand than I expected but still has enough heft to it that it would be my first choice to strap onto the belt for a zombie apocalypse (or, more likely, some camping). I held it side by side with the Ranger RD7 that has served as my camp knife and even my much-loved Fallkniven S1, which has been my go-to fixed blade for years, and there is no real comparison. The TGLB is just better in every regard than both of these otherwise excellent blades. I had worried that the choil would be a bit of a drawback but, instead, it allows me to choke up on the blade for finer work. I'll review it in more detail in the future as to how well it performs both in the kitchen and in the field.
