Hi all, I just got this in the mail. It will make a great slicer (eventually I might mod it.....just take the curve out........we will see).

Great so far! Maybe I need to slice something up for dinner.
The knife came at the same time as the Sheath from BCS. One came to the door, one was in the mail box. Perfect timing.:)

The Sus Scrofas are serious slicers. I'm going to be making up a batch of my stroganoff soon, and I'll have a little slice -off between my new BAD and my SS.

Looks good. I just recieved a Scrofa as well, they are very useful knives once you get over the blade shape.

The only thing about the blade shape I was wondering about was the slight curve of the edge. We will see how I end up liking it. I have always had an affinity for sheep's foot, etc style straight edges.

After I got it and held it I was surprised at how well it fit my hand in multiple grip styles.

I also think it would make a great rescue knife (would work great for cutting seat belts, etc, breaking windows with the "tail" or cutting off pants, jackets etc).

I would love a full sized SS with a straight blade, and more of a nick style, would be a great kitchen knife.

Hey!

Proof positive that I can actually own a knife without beating it to death!!

Glad you like it, Big. I did keep a few SS's, just in case. ;)

Hmm. Was it Soup or 'Ducci who made a Wharnie from an SS??

ya, the Soup-warnie was super nice. I really liked it (except I would not take the humps out of the spine. the only thing I would do (if ever) is simply make the edge straight.

I have been using it yesterday and today. I really like it so far. I have been wearing it around today on the belt. Went to a couple gun stores, went shooting with some friends.
