New design infi?

So it is a comp finish, BWM handle and only about a 7 inch blade.

A little JB weld and you're good to go.

Plans for a folder? I've been considering it too.
 
Or, it just might be a broken Comp BWM.

Don't know when I will have the scratch to try and have a folder made.

I am sad, holding it to think what a sweet knife it was.


I need to see what kind of design some one can come up with to make a useful piece out of the handle. Folder with some holes?
 
The BWM was really just an extra. The BAD was the knife I was after, and the thought of pieces for a possible folder project appealed to me as well.
 
Reminds me of a Bark River pocket vest bowie for some reason,

but I have been drinking. The eye sight ain't what it usually is.

Of, course, as soon as I buy another BAD, the Boss goes and releases the choil less thin Boss street!!!!!!!!

There go my plans for a mid sized user for now!




On a side note, holy crap, I had forgotten how needle thin the point was on these!!!!

I had a BAD when they first came out (took a red/black on trade, but did not really like the color in person), but just forgot how absolutely pokey and thin they are!

Ya, sold a two users to get into a KZII, and now I have no medium sized infi (ash1cg).

Saw a great deal on the options I wanted on a tankbuster, but think I might grab the CABS while it is here!

You know... I was all for that knife getting shot. A man has a right to do what he wants with his stuff.

But just this week I got my hands on one of those Comp Finish BWM's... and this thing is quickly becoming my absolutely favorite of all of my knives. I'm thinking of buying a second just to oil up and stick in a drawer incase something ever happens to this one in my old age, so I have a spare! The handle is comfortable and cool-looking with the two-tone micarta, the edge is pretty damn sharp for a stock edge, and it's really lightweight and perfectly balanced for me. And it didn't break the bank... I feel like I threw $600 away when I bought my KZII, 'cause I can't imagine using it over this puppy.

Now seeing these pictures makes me sad!

you could make a killer little skinner out of the handle and short piece... maybe muk-like...

*SO* thin and pokey.

I didn't like the elf-choil nor the AD handle shape, and I can't wait for a CABS.

I was looking at it trying to figure out what could be made out of that part. I was thinking it would be enough for a folder, as long as you did not mind holes in the blade.
