Hi Steve,
I'm interested in having the kraton inlays replaced with smooth G-10 for 2 Stretch knives. Could you produce the inlays, since it's a production model, and I'll glue them in myself? Is this work that you typically perform? What is the ballpark cost for this work? What is the typical turn around time?

Thanks,
Jeff

Hi Jeff.

At this time I've put a halt to accepting all new work until I catch up with what is here. I am only taking on very small jobs like pry bars, pocket clips and other misc. small stuff I can knock out quick like Wave mods and such until further notice. Even still your request really is not the kind of work I offer or want to start doing to be honest.

Maybe you could contact my friend Oupa and see if he can do that for you. It seems I've seen others similar to this that he has done and they were pretty much spectactular. You can find him here at this link.

Dirk can either do the job or guide you to someone that can I'm sure. He did a inlay job using some NewZealand Pau Shell in one of those Protech Stingers that was similar to the job you want and it was awesome. I'd really recommend contacting him for this type work. He'll do it better than I would I can tell you that because when it comes to this kind of stuff he is the master.
