Thanks brotha, that's what I meant to write..he he. Rocco turned 1 year yesterday-when I took that pic.

Looking good, where did you find them? I've been looking for a week or so for the bronze standoffs with no luck.

German Shepherds are one of my fav breeds

No worries, just trying to help. Many read and never post. Just pointed it out to help reduce confusion.

Beautiful pup, I've got a Pit that helps secure my valuables as well as my happiness.

awesome, Pit bulls make some of the very best dogs for the right type of owner- extremely loyal, great with CHILDREN,and if they trust and respect you they will die protecting you. My dog trainer is highly involved with pit bull rescue programs- really cool stuff to help raise awareness about pit bulls.

Jay, I ordered the standoffs from the Hinderer sight but it was a couple of months ago- maybe have to wait till they restock

Agreed, Pits make awesome pets and furry friends once you get over the fear factor and if you are a "dog person". He is loyal to a fault. Not very friendly with anyone at first. Much like his owner. :D

can someone enlighten me in what the original material the standoffs are, and were there ever titanium standoffs for the 3in made?

The standard standoffs are stainless steel and the titanium standoffs have not been made for the 3" XM-18.

great, thanks for that. was looking around on the hinderer site and couldn't find any information on those matters.

You lucky duck....Uhm...dog.

I learned about those just in time to miss them. The finish on the Ti scales is sweet!

Thanks.... I emailed Les and he said he would have more VECPs at blade of course- The lock on mine is a bit sticky- no biggy to me- but the action is super silky. That XM is the only Hinderer I currently own and it is so smooth now that its broken in. I was wondering before because it was my first and I was saying to myself, I hope this smoothens up some....I kept opening it and closing it and sure enough, it's like silk now-flings open almost like a flipper.
