New Izula Clip Plate

This is the new clip plate that will be shipping soon, both with the kit model of the Izula and as a stand-alone piece that can be purchased separately (just the clip plate and hardware). It will only come in black.

The plate is fully ambidextrous and the steel clip can be removed from the plastic plate and flipped over if you want to carry in inverted style. The two washers have to be placed between the clipe plate and the sheath in the top two sheath holes when you install this, otherwise the metal clip locks up too tight againt the top of the sheath and makes the knife hard to remove.

These should be shipping soon. No date right now and no pricing. Once we change over to this clip plate then all kit models of the Izula will have this plate and no longer have the MOLLE lock included in the kit. The standard non-kit version of the Izula will remain the same (knife and sheath only).

Molle locks are great for some stuff, but I've never even tried to use in a daily carry, pushes the knife to far from your side.. The HEST for example you can easily use zip ties on the factory sheath, works great and keeps it very close to you.. The Izula sheath OTOH is a different story..

I take "inverted style" to mean that it's just flipped over and the handle points down, not horizontally ? Thanks though
