New Izula gets broken in (deer)

Arrived in the afternoon, touched the edge up real quick, then was used to gut this big girl out later that night. Edge was still shaving-sharp after all was said and done. Worked out quite well.

I always figured that would make a fine dressing blade.:thumbup:
 
Nope tag is attached to the leg just not visible in the pic.

Face blurred because it's not me, it's a friend of mine. He shot the deer as I was pulling in his driveway and didn't have a blade immediately handy. I tossed him the Izula.
 
Welcome to the "Izula Deer Field Dressing Club"...it's amazing how much you can do with that little blade!!!
 
Nice pics! I seen a 6 point today, but I never had a clear shot. Just curious, what did she/he dress out at? I know you guys have huge whitetail up there!
 
Don't know we were literally were on our way to Indiana to teach a firearm class. She was walking across his corn field so he stalked around real quick and got a shot. We hung her, gutted her and let her hang for the weekend. If I had to guess I'd say around 150lbs.
