Looking at a small set of Ranger Beads, 3 miles.
The fire flint the kits comes with, also used the 2 split rings to be used to make a trap with. Have a photon micro light and the whistle put into the handle.

So we have a light, a whistle, paracord, a trigger for trapping, ranger beads to see how far we walked, just missing a small compass and we would be set, all in ONE with the Izula as the anchor.

I could have used the RAT FireKit on the hook and hang it off the bottom of the knife to add a the compass needed, plus tinder and have a spare battery for the flashlight as well.

This is the first time I have tried to wrap anything since I was about 10 years old. When I was younger (1976) a teenage girl used to come over and ride the pony my grandfather bought for me and my brother. She showed me how to braid things and make a key chain out of blue and yellow plastic strips, you older guys and gals like me remember those things.

Anyway, about 3 hours later (after doing and redoing the designs until I came to these), 2 minor cuts to fingers, one cut in a finger crease and 1 stab into my thigh, cutting through my jeans, here we are.

RATS are VERY unforgiving knives, you make a mistake and they will bite you, but the coin is two sided. I know that if I ever had to use my RAT for self defence it would really mess someone up, no doubt.

Yes, in my humble opinion, it is THE ULTIMATE mini/light Survival Kit.

With those on my belt, if I ever lost my pack/bag *and stayed in prayer* I know I would be okay. :)

That's why you wrap the handle with the knife in the sheath!

Yup, you said it, when I made adjustments during the final wrap, I put it into the sheath, had to learn the hard way I guess, LOL.
