New Izula & KSF Pocket Sheath

My new Izula and KSF Pocket Sheath arrived today. It is just the package I was looking for.

When I joined this forum last week I looked at hundreds of pictures of beautiful knives, but it was hard to get a good feel for the size of them.

I put a dollar in my pictures for size reference, just for the few on here that don't already own an Izula :)

Izula came today and I ordered a RC-3 and RC-4 tonight. I'm thinking my son will claim the RC-3 and I will keep the RC-4.

I'm sick I tell you!! It's a sickness!! :D

I forgot to mention that I can draw knife and re-sheath without the sheath leaving my pocket.

I just give a little backwards pressure on the draw and the sheath hooks on the seam at the top of my pocket.

When I return to sheath I just place finger tip on end of blade, feel the edge of sheath and insert.

Nice set-up :thumbup:
 
Does the rest of the sheath have room for something other than the firemaster? I see lot of room on the left in the first pic...

No room for anything else. I think the wide design is to keep it upright in your pocket. The slot for fire steel is just a bonus :)
 
I did the same thing you did,I ordered the Izula.It wasnt 2 weeks and I ordered the 3 and 4,That was 3 months ago.Just ordered the 6 from KSF on Monday.I was'nt aware they carried those pocket sheaths for the Izula,Damnit,I would have bought one.Oh well,when the 10 comes out I'll get one shipped with it.
 
Does anyone know if the pocket sheaths on ksf that have the accessory pocket for flashlights or whatever they are the ones for $24 fit the izula the same and are about the same size? I think if rather the pocket over the fire steel

I think something that takes a AAA battery.... I think it was maxed out around 3/8" diameter I think , I can't remember , I had one and was talked out of it :D so it has been a while
