New Izula Owner... hope they appreciate it...

I did the same thing with my kershaw leek, it was black with the G10 handle, and I carried it everywhere. I was cutting a piece of rope off the back of my truck, and set it on the bumper. It wasnt till the next morning that I realized what I had done, but it was gone.:( I guess the only plus to this story is that when I started looking for a new edc I found the wonderful world of RAT.
I ordered an Izula and have never looked back.:D

I did the same with my first Endura 4. left it on the couch in the lobby of a dorm room full of crazy Arkansas guys living in it. Needless to say it was gone in like 2 minutes.

Bro, that really sucks! Hate loosin' things. I once drove two miles with a plastic water bottle on the top of my car and nothin' happened to it, but when I forgot my phone in the same place it was gone in like 3 minutes.

Had the same thing happen about a month ago when we were moving. But it was one of Scott Gossmans psk knives. An early model when he just stamped his knives S.G. Sorry for your loss.

Funny story, I just found a nice little knife on some dolts bumper. :foot:

That sucks man, at least it was only a 'zula. Well hopefully someone (or something?) is really enjoying the Izula you donated.

One time I was on my way to somewhere in South Carolina from Rome Ga in NW Ga.

Just above Atlanta my buddy and I stopped to get gas and a lock for the bikes. I climbed in the back of the truck to secure one of the bikes and used my Gerber folder to cut open a lock package. I placed the Gerber on my bumper.

We rode for a few more hours through ATL traffic and got to Agusta Ga. We stopped to eat and I was doing the classic "pocket check". OH NO... MY KNIFE!!!

I went out to the truck... sure enough... still on the bumber... was my folder! HOW COOL! I cannot believe it stayed securely on the bumper for over 100 miles??

Hopefully the new owner ends up here and he becomes a rat pack memeber! But it still sucks when you lose a knife!

Ahhh, that sucks dude. Like so many others here, I did the same with my Krein Regrind waved D4. Only I luckily found it about a month later clipped to some overgrown vines in my backyard! The dangers of clipped carry in your back pocket.

That's always a bummer. But like they say.....Nothing helps you get over the last one like the next one!

one of my uncles lost my canoe up in ga. fell out of his truck + did not notice untill he got home!!

sucks for the Izula, sorry mate. hopefully they are inexpensive or the august giveaway might help you out.

Tough break brother.

On the other side of the coin...my father-in-law was fishing, and after catching a few sat down on a log to fillet them out. after the first one, he shoved his knife in the log next to him. When he went to reach for his knife to do the next fish, he found two knives! Someone had sat in the same spot, and done the same thing, leaving their knife behind when they headed home.

He said the knife he found was the best fillet knife he ever owned!
