Just got my first Rat in the mail!:D
The Izula is a winner for sure. I am piggybacking it on my busse for my new bush combo rig!
I am going to take them on a trek in the backcountry as a test run. I'll post some pics when I get back. Here's one of my set up.
I hope my picture shows up!

Congratulation on the Izula - it's everything that they say and more. Great little knife. Good looking set-up.

The BC area is incredible. We drove a portion of the Sea-to-Sky last summer. This was an unexpected bit of good luck :), since a large rockslide had blocked the route back south from Whistler. Going north was amazing, then looped over and back to Vancouver from the east - the best seven hour detour ever! Hoping to get back and enjoy it more.

When I got mine 2 days ago I was way to excited to get a good photo, so this is all I have for now....

Now my Opinel No. 10 seems heavy to me ... amazing great little knife the Izula is ...

RAT should make a membership plan because of the addictive side. :) You know just to help us buy more easily and have some promotions.

I love my new Izula!:D You guys are right, this is the first of many RAT knives for me. Yes Sasnakra, this is some nice country. I live in Squamish just north of where that rockslide was. That detour route you took is spectacular. I go backpacking and skiing into huts out there often.
Here are some photos from the trip up Brohm ridge I did with my friend Corey and of course my new Izula. It was a one night trip with snowshoes. We drove up the very rough logging road to about 3000ft. elevation seeing some grouse and a black bear as well as getting briefly stuck in a snow patch along the way. We headed up the ridge from the end of the road hiked for about six hours to our bivy. I tried out the Izula for many camp chores and I like it’s size for detail work like carving or eating dinner with. It is very nimble but feels tough and rugged in the hand. It is a powerhouse in a small package. I used my trailmaster takedown bucksaw to cut firewood from some dead spruce trees for the fire. We cooked and drank a little scotch while the fire roared. I hope you enjoy the pictures.:)
