On saturday I received my Izula, a black one.I love it.Carry it for now in my front pocket. I purchased it from Knivesshipfree, and will purchase from them again. Now I want a Hest.

Usually carry a emerson combat bowie folder, and still will for specific times, but at work this is my new edc.

yeah, so im getting my izula in a couple of days and i really wanted to put a paracord wrap on it. i was wondering if you guys knew if they sold paracord at Lowes or what not. i really would rather not buy it on the internet if i could. i think a neon green paracord wrap would look ok on my green izula.

Never seen it at lowes. I tack some on to most of my orders from goinggear.com, knivesshipfree.com, twowolvesoutdoor.com/paracord.htm, or a few others.

If I'm just getting paracord, http://www.vtarmynavy.com/ has great selection, and spools.

I know you dont want to order on the web...but those are all very good options, and have been very reliable.

EDIT: I've tried a few neon greens, havent found one I really liked. Most have turned out to be a lime green, and look like a sickly yellow. I know there's good neon out there, but most neons are buyer beware. If you find a good deep neon green, lemme know. White, Tan, or one of the camo threads may be the best match for a green izula.

Good thread for checking out wraps: http://www.bladeforums.com/forums/showthread.php?t=650542

dizwolf- thanks for the suggestions, maybe knivesshipfree will ship paracord for free. thats my only problem but yeah, i figure that a nice neon green might look reasonable on the od green either that or international orange. i mean, it would be easier to spot in the forest than black.

yep. Everything actually ships for free.

yeah, thats the best part. i mean, you have to pay like 10 bucks for 100 ft of orange but its worth it because other sites charge 6.50 then another 8 to 10 bucks for shipping. i think that is crazy. i shipped a package to canada first class for 4 bucks. and a fairly good sized package to KS for 1.99. i hate shipping fees!

i cant wait for my izula and rc-6 come...just have to wait for the items to come back into stock:grumpy:
