new izula

i only own an izula and an rc-6 but i think im going to buy my dad an izula for fathers day. im hoping it'll work well for trout fishing. I loved mine so much and i know he likes it cause whenever he looks at it seems like he doesn't ever wanta put it down. what color should i get for him. ive got black, and i think id rather not worry about getting ours mixed up?? i really like the look of the OD but the desert tan with the canvas micarta is pretty hard to beat also :jerkit: :confused:
 
I'm betting he would like the tan. Sounds like a great father's day gift:cool:
 
Get him a color that is easy to see if he drops in or around the water. :)

I got a hardon for the desert tan-od green wrap, check out the photo thread of all the wrapped izulas-could help you decide. You could always get black and wrap the handle a different color, when water's involved high vis is always a plus.
 
desert tan with the scales does it for me. i have a pair of scales in bleach laying in the sun right now. im trying to lighten them so they match the tan knife better.
 
I have an RC-6, too. Love it. Thinking about getting an Izula in either Olive barb green or tan. I think both look real cool.

Thats a great fathers day gift. I might get my dad one for fathers day.

Im sure he would like any color you get him.

i own the black izula, probably my favorite. after that i like DT, then OD, the pink ;)

i think the black and DT look really good with the scales :thumbup:
 
My DT Izula is easy to spot when I put it down and go brain dead where I left it or when I've dropped it outside. However, I think the black or green are cooler looking but the DT is easier to spot out of its' sheath.
