I contacted Martin about some new sheaths for my Izzies. And i purposed to come over and have a look since his place is only 45 minutes away from mine.
He really is a great guy. With tons of knives to boot.
Never have i seen so many knives in one place. Thats not included the knives that other people send for sheathing. And there are some very weird creations among them. Nice to see those exotic shaped blades.

I asked for two sheaths, simple design for pocket carry.
They came in the mail this afternoon and boy am i happy. He told me he'd put in a pocket clip which works pretty good, maybe even god for belt carry.
The retention is tighter than the molded sheath but i can get used to that. Besides, a bit tight is never a bad thing ;)
The old molded sheath will reside in my maxped barnacle bushcraft kit since thats a great fit.
Now to the p0rn;

Oh my god. That digi camo would make me soooooooooo happy.

Does this Martin fellow have contact information/will he ship to Canada? :D

Please and thanks!

He does work for people all over the world. Depending on the knife you may need to send it over though.

I'm not verry fond of posting email addresses on forums openly.
This is his site, contact info on the left

He does great work - we have a lot of talented sheath-makers around here that can make pants for your blades.

Thanks for the pics. Now a question for you, how well does the pocket clip work, can you pull the knife out and the sheath stay clip to the pocket? It looks like a neat concept.

It works well for keeping the knife in place. Before it was always walking around in my pocket. For unsheathing it is in the way. When i grab the handle i cant get my hand on the sheath because of the clip. But its no issue, i always take the knife out of my pocket before unsheathing.

i agree that martins work is incredible. i have a sheath made by him and it is the best i have come across.
