I had John put handles on one of his original 1095 budget model blanks he sent me for testing a long time ago. The knife has lived in a backup kit of mine and has come in very handy! You may remember me and another member "one upping" each other on how much abuse we could throw at these things. So far the knife has won.
Since it's a backup/light duty blade to my full size Kephart, I wanted to keep it thin and lightweight.
John added a set of red liners and 1/8" black micarta scales to it. He also included a foldover kydex sheath. It is perfect.
Pics will be coming shortly. I also have a hike/camp with the guys coming up on the weekend of the 27th. It will be getting a workout then!
