New Job Monday!

After 3+ months laid off trying somewhat unsuccessfully to make a living self employed, I start a new job in a metallurgy lab on Monday! (not steel, nickel-titanium superalloys)
Now I'll actually be able to afford MORE TOOLS and MORE STEEL! (Aldo, we'll be talking!)

yes, but I'll have money for them to get stolen from. The self employed thing wasn't covering the bills.
Now I get to work with all sorts of interesting metals that we make. If a plane goes over you it probably has some of our product in the hot sections of it's engines. We don't make much steel, but some of the stuff I'm learning will help with making my knives better.

Congratulations Page! I hope you enjoy your new job.

If your still smelting your own steel/wrought iron, I might be able to get iron ore by the ton from a quarry in the Adirondacks.
 
Not yet. I'm going to try to talk with someone in management on tuesday. I can't find the quarry name (for phone#) on the internet so I have to go talk in person.

titanium aye, that sounds like a built in 2nd job for yahh right there :D

you better check and see if there is much of the stuff just laying around,, unusable you know.. :D ...

Nothing better than working in "the feild". Dont feel too bad I would starve to death self employed.
