So i'm moving to a new job that is very high security and I have to be metal free...
I feel naked with out my wedding band, however I prefer them of the tungsten and titanium variety, which is frowned upon. however they have told me that I can wear a ceramic band as it wont mess with the metal detectors. Does anyone here have any experience with them? for being as inexpensive as they are I feel like i would destroy it. but then again my current band was a 15$ auction site special.
it makes me sad that i wont be able to carry a knife with me through my new job, but if it keeps the security guard happy, then i gotta do what i gotta do.
but it is kinda awesome that I can go to work in track pants, and not get told to go home...

Interesting and cryptic job description. I would also look into the possibility of a carbon fiber band.

I am going to work for a national jewelry Co. In their distribution center, I wish it was a "I can't tell you" type job, but it's not.
I have never seen a 100 percent cf ring... May have to look for one

Google CIA letter opener.
It's a small dagger made out of a glass filled polymer.
It looks identical to the CRKT sting.
I had one for years and it was very tough.
Congrats on you new job also.
