Hello everyone. I’m On my way to day one of a new job at a recycling plant. Gonna be carrying my native 5 s110v. What is your favorite work knife?

Today my UKPK S110V.
Tuesday one of the CRK (Sebenza or Inkosi)
Wednesday the Spyderco Techno
Thursday the Spyderco PITS
Friday the Lionsteel T.R.E.
;)

Congrats on the new job

At work I’ll carry any of the following (in no particular order):

Buck 110LT
Spyderco Military S110V
GEC 72LB
CRK Small Inkosi
Buck Vantage Large S30V
Leatherman Rebar (every day)

My 2 knives most used at work are a plain edge Spyderco Tasman Salt for "wet" work and an Opinel no6 Carbone for cardboard and other "rough" stuff. The Opinel is thin and sharp so it just glides through cardboard (even when it dulls), is easy to sharpen, and only costs $12 if I ever ruin, lose, or give it away. The Tasman Salt absolutely rips through plastic bags, tape, and other stuff best cut with a draw cut. I'm pondering replacing it with a Dragonfly Salt, as I really only ever use the tip and front inch or so of the blade, so having a larger knife is kinda superfluous.

I'm retired now, but on my last job (truck driver) I carried a Buck 110 on my belt, and had a stockman and a 4 blade "Scout" knife in my pocket, 24/7/365.
I still carry them, but swap out the Scout knife sometimes with a SAK Huntsman.

I work in a government office and carry options are limited. For me, its a leatherman skeletool CX, leatherman raptor, and gerber EAB (and even those are pushing boundries). My edc folder (usually a manix 2) stays in my car and goes in my pocket as soon as I leave work.

Last few months it been a 940-1501, 940-1 or ZT 0770 M4 for work. Then after work a Microtech LUDT.

I'm retired now, but I still mostly carry one of the Para 2's that I carried when I worked in a sporting goods warehouse. I tried a lot of folders and small FBs (they were nice to carry and use), but I found that the larger hole on a Para 2 made opening in just about any situation more dependable than either a thumb stud or a disk, for me, anyway.

I had to open and use the knife when I was squeezed in between large stacks of boxes, when I was 25 feet in the air on a cherry-picker, when I had some slick goop on my hands, and when I was wearing gloves. The Paras never let me down. Easy-open, easy-close, and always sharp.

Delica all the way. Though I may be looking for a more hard user in the near future, debating whether it not I should get another Tenacious since I sold my last one.

Usually a small Sebenza/Inkosi is about perfect for me and get most the pocket time, but I rotate between a number of knives. Today I've got a Gayle Bradley, but I have a small PJ Sebenza in my pack also. If I carry an expensive knife, I'll usually bring something like a BM 581 just in case I want something to use as a "beater." BM blade replacements are a hell of a lot cheaper than CRK blade replacements.

I use a Tenacious a lot for hard use. Once I flipped the clip for tip up carry, it was perfect. Cheap, easily replaceable and a quality knife that I won’t have a breakdown over if I lose or break it.

I also have a nice Chinese Kershaw reverse tanto flipper that was dirt cheap as well that I have no problem beating around.

I am an office man so honestly the best knives for at the office are all more traditional and/or gentlemanly

Lionsteel Roundhead Stag
Queen Tiny Toothpick Abalone
Buck 55
Opinel No. 6
Maserin 392/CN

But I toss in my CRKT Swindle, Spyderco Lil' Lionspy, and Spyderco Delica 4 Purple some days

I'm back to carrying my Izula after a few weeks on the ranch in Colorado. Unfortunately that means pocket carry and not belt carry in Chicago.

working man. right on. we're a dying breed.;)

normally carry a buck 110 in sheath.. today wanted less so grabbed my spyderco police full serrated.
