A couple years ago I picked up a Belknap John Primble scout knife. Really nice looking scales, possibly made by Boker or Queen. I got an email from a certain knife dealer today, and their stock consisted of John Primble knives. Anyone know who's making these?

I love the old Belknap Primbles, as I am from Louisville, KY.

Not sure who makes the new Primbles.

If I had to guess, I would say Queen is making them. The new John Primble muskrats look like Queen's version to me.
Very nice though. No mention of what type of steel is used, other than it is called "stainless".

Yes and the knife pictured above looks very much like Queen pattern.

The pictured knife looks just like the ones shown on the Utica/Kutmaster website.

Maybe wrong but my guess is Utica.

I've browsed those a bit on some websites and it seems that many of the sites I went to were very vague as to who made them and where. I do know that they have a location and "USA" stamped on the blade, but unfortunately that doesn't mean much now, and it could just be an old type stamp to replicate the vintage ones a bit closer. I don't know about you, but I'm staying away from them until I can find a definitive answer as to who they're made by and where.
