New JSP "BuKoppo" stick

I asked James if he could make something special for me. I wanted a combination Koppo/Ban Bog stick. I wanted to be able to use the best points of each in one weapon. James calls the combination weapon he made me a “BuKoppo”.

Mine is 8” long with the Ban Bog cord at one end to draw and use as a swinging weapon at long range, and the Koppo cord in the middle to insert my fingers and get a good solid grip to use in close. To train, my partners and I use Nerf Arrows (soft foam) from a child’s Nerf Bow and Arrow set to represent our JSP sticks. That way we can safely practice strikes and destruction techniques. As usual, James was able to deliver exactly what I wanted and I am very happy with the results.
 
Sounds cool! One in the same vein with double tapered points would be REALLY AWESOME!!!

The BuKoppo stick James made for me cost around $140 and that included the braided cord. I also just recently purchased one of the new IWB holsters for my BuKoppo and the combination works like a dream. So comfortable you can forget it is even there and yet the stick can be drawn in an instant. I am very happy with this combination.
