Gary, wasnt Jerry Hossum working on a fishhook large barb type shank to attach to a staff. I think he and Terril were working on something similar. Otha the one pictured is pretty cool. Can it be attached to a staff or do you have one that can or am I just talking out of my neck.

That rings a bell, can't remember exactly how that one looked, Otha always comes up with an otherworldly looking piece doesn't he though?!

Yes they were. Pics & details here: http://www.bladeforums.com/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=240031

BTW Otha, if it were double-ground (personal preference) that Fishbone looks like it'd make a slick little Bird & Trout knife for fishing.

I will be double grinding them. never thouht of putting it on a pole.
They are simular. I got the Idea from one of the cheap knife mags had a skinner set in it. I have seen Jerry's its about 12" long and about 2" wide. It has a strait spine and is larger on the butt end.

I hope this does not become a flame thread over stealing ideas.

If somebody even implied that Otha, I'd say they were dead wrong. Like Keith said, it looks deadly.

Thanx For the good words all.

I dont think anyone is implying anything other than the simularities.(I hope) Aghain thanx for the good words.

Otha, that is a slick and very stylish knife. I am always impressed by your clean and crisp work.

Wow, mean lookin blade Otha!!
The wrap is really nice! I don't know how you get it wrapped so even and tight. Sure has a wicked point on it too, whew! The blasted finish fits that blade too. It looks much better than a buffed finish would, imo.
Beautiful knife!!

Otha,
I would also like to have one of those done with a conventional double ground edge. That is a very good looking design!!:D  I like it a LOT!!! I hope you get a few of them in the system for sale.;)

Arc- I will be offering them in all 3 grinds, left and right chisle and double.

Otha

How are these working out for those that bought one?
