Hey all,

I recently sold my slightly used BM 635 Mini-Skirmish online and wanted to order a new, temporary EDC at the same time to hold me over until I decided on- and saved up for my permanent hunting and skinning knife which is still yet undecided. I have been reading about Bob Dozier's Hunting Folder as well as his fixed blade KS-1 Hunter and that somehow led me to the (much) cheaper Ka-Bar Dozier (designed) Drop Point Hunter and its variations. I read quite a few good reviews on it and figured for 20 bucks, why not? If nothing else it would be a good general purpose knife for me for at work and such.

Well, as luck would have it, it arrived today (my birthday) and I have to say I'm quite impressed. The reviews are right! This has GOT to be the nicest hunting folder for the price I've ever seen! This baby was shaving sharp from the box, which was amazing. I did some cardboard testing to dull it as fast as possible and then brought it back to hair popping sharp on my Sharpmaker with a 30 degree back bevel and a 40 degree primary bevel and a bit of plain leather stropping (which didn't do much but hey, thats all I have to strop with right now). I took a few pics of it that I thought you all might enjoy. VERY nice knife!! (Now, if I could just save up for my Dozier KS-1!!)
