Has any one purchased one & would like to give their take on it ?
any one know the blade thickness ? thank you.

Would like to know the thickness as well.

Machetes used for grass are usually very thin, so I'm hoping it's not a thin piece of crap. Especially for the price.

Something 1/8 or more would be good, but I doubt it is.

Ka-Bar catalog lists the bulk weight (knife alone) as 1.2 lbs. Fishing scales put mine at 1 lb. 3 oz., so that looks right. (.2 lbs equals 3.2 oz.)
I took a few caliper measurements down the spine and consistently got between .161" and .164". So between 1/8" (.125") and 3/16" (.1875"), but closer to 3/16".

That sounds like a solid performer to me.

As long as you don't want to thin out your bricks.

Hm... I might have to get one, then. How's the sheath?
