Thanks for the compliment.
I have too many knives, But I'm selling down many of my more expensive ones in favor of more value oriented users. I love the Big Ka-Bar. It feels good in the hand. And it carries with it so much history, you can almost feel it. It's the AK-47 of knives. Whenever people ask me what I recommend in a survival/utility, knife I always say. Ka-Bar/BK-7. The Ka-Bar has served this purpose well, in situations where actual survival has depended on it.
I liked them so much I went ahead and ordered the 3/4 Ka-Bar too.
The little Mk1 is seeing a lot of light utility and KP duty. So far so good. Looks like another round of Busse/Swamprat knives will be heading to the for sale forum soon.
The Ka-Bars and Beckers do everything I need with enough style and pa-nosh for me.
