New Kabar accessories

I have always been a fan of Kabar's knives and I like that they are adding some new products to their line, The TDI's and folders are nice. The Magnum Tanto and Mark 1 are solidly built, and I would buy both again.

What do you think of Kabars' new accessories? Thoughts?

The Kabar Ice Scraper. Now I really like this, I live in Michigan and we get lake effect here so if I bought one it would definitely get some use. Not a bad thing to have in your car either. Practical and pretty cool in my opinion.

I live in Florida so the ice scraper would be out of work but the bottle opener would get a regular workout:thumbup:
 
The opener is pretty sweet. I love the pun... Ka-Barley!
Great cheap gift.

The ice scraper looks pretty serious. Almost like an Ulu! Not that I'd every need it in Arizona. When we do get frost, a credit card is enough.

The tap handle is gorgeous. I'm not sure if I'll ever get a true man cave but if I did and had a kegerator... Ka-Bar tap handle, FTW!

I wish they made other stuff like lanyard beads or vinyl decals for cars and such. The fighting knife profile would be sweet.

lanyard beads and decals/stickers would be pretty cool. I'd like to see what they come up with.

The ice scraper is good. Love the self defense cane! Dont drink so have no use for the bottle opener or beer tap. What Ka Bar needs in accessories are first off some micarta and G10 scales for the otherwise excellent Ka Bar neck knife. Ka Bar custom sheaths would do pretty well I believe. Like multi material sheaths. Kydex and leather. I mean real actual kydex not the plastic crap they currently call kydex. They could also sell sharpening kits, honing oils, lubes and cleaners. More and better designed Ka Bar t-shirts made from much better t-shirts like Hanes beefy T's. I bough 2 Ka Bar t-shirts and the material they are made of is very thin and cheap. Better hats. I also bought a Ka Bar hat. The one wit the stitched fighting knife silhouette. It sucks. The actual hat they use is super cheap and has zero actual form fit to it its like some super cheap hat from a truck stop. They could also sell posters with HD images of various knives doing various things in extreme environments. Ka Bar's profit would increase over 4 fold if Ka Bar was actually owned by knife enthusiasts instead of the vulture capitalists of Cutco.

I think they're pretty much there. Currently, there are some of 710's sheaths available through Ka-Bar like this one for the USMC. I don't know of any others that offer custom sheaths like that.

That would be slick. I have an OLD bottle of Ka-Bar honing oil that a friend gave me.
