Hey Guys...

Just got a couple of the new KaBar Beckers, the 7 and 9 and they are a Huge improvement over the Cammillus models.. The biggest improvement is the handle configuration.. They are much slimmer and fit the hand much better... People with smaller hands will enjoy them..

Heres a couple of sheaths I made for the KaBar Beckers

The Becker 13 Comapnion Knife rides piggyback on the main sheath, as well has it's own multi-carry sheath that will do neck and belt (horizontal/vertical) as well can be used with Mercop's Mercharness

Let me know what ya think..

Eric,
Have you had a chance to use them yet? How do they compare to the Camillus versions?

The Camillus Beckers were considered a fantastic bargain for a very good outdoor blade. The Ka-Bars should be the same.

The Camillus Beckers were made in Carbon V (or at least their name for the). Carbon V was extremely similar in composition to Ka-Bar's 1095 Cro-Van. If I read the specs properly, Camillus ran their blades at 58-59 HRC. Ka-Bar runs theirs at 57-59HRC.

I'd be fascinated to find out if you can tell the difference in performance in the field.

Add: BTW, that is gorgeous sheath-work as per your norm!

Great work on the sheaths, and of course, the Beckers (both old and new) are the shizzle. I really need one of those Kydex sheaths for my two BK13. E-mail inbound :)

Those look great. I saw them when I was shopping around but picked up the Large Heavy Bowie instead.

I really like those sheaths though.
Wish my LHB had something like that. The factory slab is... eww.

I think you need a BK2. You can use it to pry open the door your entering to take care of any zombies inside with the shotty.

I didn't realize they changed the grips, any chance you could post a pic of them (old and new) side-by-side?

How much do those sheaths run? They look very sharp and a drastic improvement over the factory sheaths.

Very nice sheaths. Thinking of picking up a BK9 for chopping myself once the funds will allow it
