We have a new kami at BirGorkha but I don't know anything about him except he knows how to make a khukuri. I'll be posting pix of one of his first efforts that clinched him a job at BirGorkha. He's good that much I know.

So, if a blade shows up with this mark on it then know the knife was made by Durba. If this old memory is clicking properly this is the name of a princess in Hindu mythology and the name given to the planet we call Venus. Scholars feel free to correct this failing memory if I'm wrong.

That's interesting ... that resembles the rune called Beorc which is related to the Roman letter B. It represents the birch tree, a pair of breasts, and the goddess Freya who corresponds to Venus (the planet as well as the goddess).

It also kinda looks like the two flags they but up to tell you a Hurricane is on the way!

Maybe we could call him the Hurricane Kami!!

This is great! More kamis means more khukuris! His mark is the Nepali flag, correct?

Uncle Bill, is this one of the four fellows who started a few months ago or somebody totally new?

It seems like each kami has one or two styles he specializes in, what does this new kami make? Maybe we should tell Pala to encourage him to make his own style khuk, kind of like Kumar's Kobra.
