Holy Moly! I want that Hanuman Bad! I guess I will try and email for it

Warty please save me and my bank account from that Hanuman. I just crashed my Outlook to prevent sending an email on the Sirupati:p I'm taking a break from sharking till mid-October when the greenbacks fly back my way again.
This is meant partially in jest but tad seriously some of these Kami's need some coverage in the Makers section especially in the gallery. Yangdu, maybe the next time we get a knife in progress update with pictures?
"Amazing work by new Kami and Sarki" keep praising the Sarki he deserves it. I have 2 sheaths gluing up as I type this and doing that work right is far from easy.

Wow! Way cool "Matrix Hanuman 2010."

Mike

Can you imagine what he will come up with for Biralo and Garud! Humina Humina!
Looks like I will be having to score me another set of these things now...
One "Old School" from the Tiger and this new one from Rajkumar! :D

That is a really interesting Hanuman. Detailed bolster. The carving work looks extremely well done. The blade looks UBEish. Kinda hard to tell if its got the fullers but an excellent looking khukuri. Good luck warty.

The Sirupati looks good too. I'm holding off for now. A great choice for all. I thought there was someone looking for a Siru...can't think of who it was.

Excellent work from both Kamis, I can see why Yangdu chose Rajkumar to do Terisa's "Himalayan Prince".

I'd have gone for the Sirupate if I didn't already get one recently.

Well one thing is for sure, I was concerned about asking for carved items as I wasn't sure if there was a Kami up to the task yet.
Those fears are now allayed completely. I also find it interesting that Kumar of old was a great carver too...
Kumar and now Rajkumar takes his place. I wonder if there is also a new kami named Rajbura? LOL!

Thank you all for giving a nice home for Hanuman and Sirupati

NICE, NICE!

So...who can explain the lack of "cho" and the "4 line cut" what does it mean? (on the Hanuman)

The little half moon cut out on the blade, just in front of the bolster on most Khuks is caller a cho.

I imagine the four line cut purlyaeheicsi

Young Sher is our Rajbura Kami
