New karda use

These little knives are sure handy. I was cleaning my Colt 1861 Navy and 1872 OpenTops and used the karda handle to tap out the barrel wedge(this allows you to slide off the barrel for cleaning) and back in after cleaning.

Umm...Woody, what about the chakma? Same wooden handle and easier on the fingers, at least I'd think.

You're absolutely right,Spence.I got used to tapping the wedge during CW reeactments with my small Sheffield bowie,but it did have a larger blade so less chance of slippage.Consider the thread retitled "New chakma use".
