New kephart

looking at getting a kephart made

I have a few ?
The knife will be my carry knife,i want it comfortable and not overkill,i wont be batoning with it unless i just have to.Will use for fire prep,food prep and skinning.
1/8” o-1steel
1.Whats the benifit of liners with wood handles?
2.Whats the benifit of convex vs flat grind for my use?
3.Would you add a lanyard hole and mosic pins or keep with the simple elegance.

See the thread just above about covex edges on a CRKT machete. I think you should get the grind you are most comfortable sharpening.

I have had knifes for years but just now getting interested in quality and sharpeing etc.My experience is only touching up my Spyderco pocket knifes and deer skinner in a old lanskey or sharp maker,wanting to learn!
