I just got this new Kershaw Green Tanto Blur BDZ-1 Steel from Dave (Kershawguy) yesterday and thought I'd share.

I'm really liking this knife. The Green and Black really standout and give it a great look. In hand it's very nice just like my other Blur but I like this color combo a lot. I prefer ergo's over aesthetic's and this one has both. Nothing wrong with a good looking knife though. The assist fires hard with sound solid lock up. For the price, very happy with it!

What I like most though and why I got it is the blade design. The Tanto with slight recurve gives it a nice range of utility I think. Again, like the look of it too.

This will be my first knife with BDZ-1 steel. Interested in seeing how it performs.

Anyway, just wanted to share and see what other thought.

All the best!

Nice looking blade. Do you think the rough spots on the handle would make hotspots?

That green n black really pops! I saw that Dave also has the purple blur for sale with the same blade. Those two together would make fine collectables.

ETA: truly a nice score, I think I had 6 or 7 blurs at one time and am down to two, but it is still a favorite knife of mine.

I saw the Purple ones too. They look pretty good. I know their a limited run but hopefully they will be around long enough to pick up another one at some point.

Imagine all the Frankenblur possibilities!

Congrats on an outstanding knife! Blurs are one of my all-time favorite knives, and these limited edition colors are making me drool!

Thanks for the pics, man.

I picked up the purple from Dave and I am pretty pleased. The purple one isn't as rich in color as the original purple they did years ago that is now so coveted by blur collectors, but its still very nice.

I also picked up both the green and purple from Dave. They look stunning and match perfectly with my green and purple spider web blurs.
