Snagged a LNIB Kershaw RAM off Ebay, and it just came in the mail today  I really dig the blade shape, the cutting edge has a nice piercing point and a bit of belly, but it seems sturdier than some of my other knives that are more pointy and slender (OD-1, CRKT Ripple). I like the swage(sp?) at the top, too, but I'm not too sure about the 3 studs. I may press them out like I saw another member here has done. It flips really nice, a flipper is definitely my favorite method of opening. It feels great in the hand, too. I like how the grip is due to the shape of the handle, not because of a really aggressive surface. It is a pretty good EDC size for me, I think it will fit nicely in my pockets.

The one quibble I do have with it is that I wish the release button was a little more prominent. It's kinda hard to get a grip on to close the knife one handed. It's a little better now that I moved the clip up for tip down carry, that gives me a little more to grip against when trying to close the knife. Anybody got any advice for me on that one, or is it just something I'm going to have to get used to? I gotta say, being so used to liner/frame lock knives, I do find myself reaching across with my thumb to move the lock :)

Anyway, here's the one picture I have at this point, taken for the "Beer and Blades" thread over in General.

One thing you need to train yourself at is keeping your hand off the button when flipping. As far as closing it just spend some time with it and it gets easier. You will be able to just swing it closed like an axis lock.

This is exactly what I needed. I don't have any axis lock knives, so I'm too used to having to force the blade in. It'll take some practice, but I think this is the answer, thanks.
I don't have any trouble opening it, my thumb naturally lands on the pivot, not the lock button.
