Got my new Kirby Lambert knife at the CKG show this past weekend in Toronto... made the trip out there as usual for me the last 3 years and got to meet some cool people... met briefly with Krausb and RL.. Saw Dale there but didn't get a chance to say hi... Talked with Kirby Lambert and Eric Elson.. both very cool guys and got a chance to say hi to a few others as well. Murray White, Greg Lightfoot, Neil from TNK was very unhappy that Kirby did not sell this knife to him haha... this one is MINE!! ALL MINE! The Hamon is actually more defined than it appears in the pics... this is the only folder that Kirby has made so far with the Hamon, though he said he might make some more in the future. Enjoy.

Damn! That is such a beautiful knife!!! Congrats for sure. Although I was secretly hoping you wouldn't show up to claim it and Kirby would put it up for sale... ;)

It was great meeting and chatting with you too, by the way. Hopefully I'll see you there next year!

Corwin99,
I think we may have met briefly/indirectly as well. I was next in line to chat with Kirby and drop off my Claw just after you picked up that new custom from him. I think we also occupied the Lightfoot table at the same time when I bought my Catchdog. Beautiful collection by the way.

Thanks guys. Lindey, were you the guy that picked up the Lightfoot folder with the wooden handle? I remember you! You were about to go for lunch but ended up snagging that knife first?

That was me. I'm glad I did too because when I came back a good number of the other pieces on the table were gone.

That backspine sets it apart for me. Very distinctive.

Nice going Kirby! Congrats Corwin.

Lindey, when i got back, ALL of Greg's knives were gone! Good score! I thought that wasn't a Catchdog though... Greg said it was one of his new models or something?

This Kirby knife is my favourite knife that I own, period! My second favourite.. another Kirby that i own :D

Corwin99, good to put another face to a name. Yeah it was one of his Catchdogs but with a different clip and no skull crusher as he wanted to extend the scales.
With regards to you Lambert you picked up, did I overhear correctly that you supplied him with the scale material yourself? Also did you design much of the knife yourself or did youjust let Kirby run with the thing? Take care.
