This is my latest and second to last kitchen knife before i loose my shop for the foreseeable future moving to NJ =(. Last one is an usuba just need to clean it up and put a handle on it.
The handle is Arizona Desert Iron wood and buffalo horn first time using this wood and love it.
The blade is cpm 3v heat treated by peters to 61-62.

I think it maybe to thick behind the edge especially compared to custom kitchen knives, but overall really happy how it came out. Especially how all the lines came out=) Its been a journey getting there doing everything freehand.

That's a good looking piece.
The proof is in the cutting!

Good luck spinning up a new shop in NJ.

It's never too late to thin it out, man. However, you can't make it thicker!:D

Looks great. All the dimensions look spot-on, from what I can tell, and the handle compliments the blade. Nice scabbard, too!

Next time, try turning the camera the other way - much easier to look at in web browsers, as the photos resize properly. Tough to get a good look at what you've done.
