I've enjoyed seeing other people's photos of their new toys, so I thought I'd finally post one of mine (this might be my first post here). This arrived last week - it's my third knife from Michael (great guy). Works well for spreading peanut butter and jelly on bread for my son.

12" blade length, 15N-20/1080+ damascus, koa and box elder burl handle.

Gadzooks! That is awesome!!

"Works well for spreading peanut butter and jelly on bread... " - LOL my kinda humour ;)

Michael's knives, as good as they are, just keep getting better and better. That is one sure-enough-sexy slicer, there. I know the knife wasn't cheap, but I'd go broke now in buying large hunks of meat to slice with that thing. Have fun and enjoy it. What are your other Raders?

I like this knife a lot! This is what happens when a guy who loves swords makes a kitchen knife eh!

Boy oh boy, that's one helluva jelly spreader!!! :D And one heck of an introductory post here on the forum as well! :)

Awesome knife!!!

Michael's signature handles just draw me in like a moth to a flame...

I just noticed you've been registered for knocking on the door of 3 years.

Way to make up for lost time with the two posts in this thread!!! ;) :D

Awesome knives!

That is so cool Mike has raised the bar with his handles and his steel he calls this damascus pattern curtain call and I think he should take a bow ,ok I made up that last part but that would be a good name.

That is a good name! BTW, I'm hoping to add a couple of Lisch knives to my kitchen soon...

I Think I can help you out Reede, but we have gotten off track this thread is about Mikes very cool slicer with that crazy cool Damascus

Just wanted to thank everyone for the warm welcome - and obviously thanks go to Mike for the wonderful kitchen tools.

Very Nice. :thumbup::thumbup::thumbup:
I just received an EDC from Michael that looks like it could be an offspring of your piece.
Same Damascus pattern, similar handle design and spacer configuration. Just MUCH MUCH SMALLER.
I will share it after I get professional photos.

Ahh, you're the one that got that one, huh? I wondered who had gotten the little brother to mine. First other one of those that I've seen.

Always been a big fan of Mr Raders work. That is a cool cool slicer. And as Nick said, wow, great handle. Thanks for sharing it.
Cheers Keith
