Please excuse the backgrounds.I desperately need a new coat of paint & new floors(which are way overdue)

Here is the newest addition to the family. Her name is Sammy. She was born in late June 2009.I got her @ 7wks.She only weighed 14oz when I got her.
She is definitely a "wild one",as she gets into absolutely everything.
My 11yr old cat,Cal,didn't want anything to do with her at first, but after a couple of weeks, they're getting along just fine.

That's right Sammy, keep messing with him...he's only about 20X your weight!:D She is completely Fearless!I know Cal would never hurt her though.Occasionally,he'll give her a swat, when she gets out of hand.

Nice little one you have there! Our little one is 10 weeks old now and is a terror. He chases the 2 Boston Terriers around the house, doesnt have as much luck with our other cat though.

Thanks :)

As far as the other cat goes, you'll usually know in about two, three weeks at the most,if the other cat will ever take to him.(from my experiences anyway)

Kittens are cute.. until you take them home and they chew on your toes in the middle of the night.
Kittens remind me of every horror movie ever made where the unsuspecting young couple brings home the child of satan....
haha
Just kidding... sort of.
but they are a handful!
enjoy you kitten (after it's full grown) :D

Cool looking cat!

They can really be good company if you luck out and get a good one...Our new one is one of those!

Haha, Sammy looks like a troublemaker. Look at those eyes.

I don't care if my (debatable) manliness is diminished in saying so, KITTENS ARE THE BEST ANIMAL EVER.

Kittens and knives. These are a few of my favourite things. Kittens WITH knives is very scary though, like Filipino cockfights gone wrong.

I'm with you on that one. I love dogs, but I'm a cat person. One of the most satisfying (albeit at times irritating) things I've ever done in my life was adopting a cat. It'll be two years on September 1st and she's still a bundle of loud, curious energy (she's part siamese... I didn't know what to expect with a siamese so every day is something new).

Sammy's a cute kitten, but I bet she'll be a beautiful cat when she's fully grown.

Have fun with her.

She is a real cutie!;)
Cats are just the most wonderful creatures.......and she is lucky to have such a loving home.....

I think the "Macho" thing, is to say "I hate Cats".....usually espoused from some idiot who has never owned one or taken a moment to appreciate their beauty. Growing up, we had cats....sometimes as many as 13 of them....running around. They are a joy to own through their entire life cycle. When they are Sammy's age, they are little fur-balls, full of energy as they scamper around the house tormenting and entertaining everyone/everything in their path. Then they become skilled hunters and companions, laid back yet stealth-full as they pursue small backyard critters. If you have never had a cat try and lay on your head as you sleep....you haven't known their affection.

Congratulations on your new "Holy Terror"

Cats are awesome. Boy cats usually make for better pets, though. Usually more affectionate, and "dog-like" It's the girl cats that give cat owners a bad name, they are much more stand offish.
Kittens... well... kittens make me a little nuts. Just too much energy in those little furballs. :D
Good thing kittenhood is short lived!
Thanks for giving the little guy a good home.
Don't forget to do what Bob Barker says, and SPAY AND NEUTER YOUR PETS!

The females can be rather independant and alloof, however they are very loving and many are great mousers. My 16 year old female was a true killer when it came to mice.

if you live in rural area & coyotes arent around, cats outside will kill all the baby copperheads & rattlers.after a few yrs.old snakes die off & yoyr homesite is safe for babies.

First of all John,
If you do not remove your arse from the computer, you will never get the renovations in the house done. Second of all, I am hyper allergic to those God forsaken animals that curse the ground they walk on. All right, I think they are cute, I just cannot breathe in a house that has cats.:D I guess that is why I am a dog person.:D:D;) I hope that new critter brings you much joy!

:)I like dogs too,but they give me hives....itchy,itchy,itchy:grumpy:

Yes, the kittehs do that to me too. I buy a six pack of liquid benadryl, and then take a nap if I have to visit a cat house....er, you know what I mean. I usually just stay outside.

Cool cats!

I have a question, are they indoor cats? how do you keep them from occasionally sneaking out?

I had a cat who ran away :(
