I ordered a "EDC" model from JK awhile back and received it last week. This knife has a blade of 2 3/4" scale to tip with a cutting edge of 2 3/8". It is made from 1/8" O1 and has an OAL of 6".

I ordered mine with tan micarta and black liners.

I had been using a BK11 as the main knife of my EDC kit. But after playing with this one the little Becker is in my drawer. And as a few of you know, the BK11 is a great knife itself.

My new little kit.

The Schrade pouch is a PSK, and the tin is a small FAK

The JK EDC is very compact, and John's sheath is bombproof. I really hardly notice it on my belt.

If you are looking for a small fixed for EDC, John has come-up with another great little one.

That looks a perfect size as an every day edc !

You know I really can't understand why John isn't swamped by orders, he does an amazing product at an awesome price but just gets a trickle of customers.I then occasionally see people on here who are thinking about buying a production knife that's half as nice as Johns but at twice the cost and it just makes me want to give their head a shake !!!!!

Well said, and definitely true.

That EDC is spiffy! I like the way it includes a substantial handle in a small overall package.

Nice belt kit, Todd A!

All the best,

Nice EDC! That knife looks incredibly useable. I've really fallen in love with the look of natural micarta scales.

I love small blades, but I don't like thin handles or scaleless stuff. The handles on that look like they fill the hand pretty nicely. I like.
