new knife and first sheath

Okay guys,this is my fourth knife iv'e made and my very first sheath!I forged the knife out of 5160-drop point-full flat grind(still working on my grinds)-black ash burl-mosaic pins-brass lined lanyard-and noose lanyard-hope you like it-----Butch

I like it a lot. Very cool handle slab shape at the front. I have only one critique. Take a second to pay attention to the pattern on the mosaic pins and line them up as you insert them, so that the pattern is lined up in the same rotational axis. My eye was drawn immediately to them, as they are lined up differently and stood out.

Yes Scott,I realised that too late,I have even noticed that myself in other knives,I guess things like that come with experience,thanks for your thoughts:thumbup:Regards Butch

Great looking knife. Where did ya get the little skull on the lanyard?
