I am a big fan of fixed blades and wanted a stacked leather knife. I looked at Case, Ka-Bar and Western. I ended up with the Ka-Bar. I am very impressed. Sharp out of the box. A very usable size in a stylish looking package. Sheath is well made by today's standards but I will probably fashion a pouch sheath for it. It it the perfect small game knife size. I plan on trying out at the farm next week bird hunting. I have an AG Russell Woodswalker which I like a lot. This knife offers a more cutting surface with a stouter blade. Sorry about the picture quality. Still trying to figure this thing out.

Only thing I wish it had was the ridges on the spine for finger placement.

Good for you. I have been eying the "little fin" Kaybars for a long time. Looks as though it would be a great user for the $$$

Congrats:thumbup:

Very nice, pinetree! Enjoy the Kabar!

Don't forget to use the Woodswalker once and a while, or the lille guy will get jealous! I've got one myself, and the little fella always wants to baton stuff.

I've come close to picking up one of the stacked leather Ka-bars several times,I still think I will one of these days, good looking knife.

And as Sword and Shield said,a triangle file works well for adding finger grooves,I did a mora a couple weeks ago.

Very nice little knife pinetree. Jeez, looking at it brings back alot of memories from the 40's and 50's. That had to be one of the most ubiquitous style of knives around back then on a belt for when something a bit more than a pocket knife was needed.:thumbup::thumbup:

I love my KA-BAR Little Finn! What a great looking little knife.

I hope you enjoy yours.

Stay sharp,
