Is this spam, or what?

29 bucks for a folding ceramic blade? Hmmm..

This website looks like the Royal Scam.

I would be very wary if I were you.

Well, he's not a one post wonder, and he's been here over a year - maybe he just found them, and is sharing?

I'm just sayin'.....

The blade looks kinda "wrinkled" though, almost like its been wrapped in saran-wrap. Give the OP a little more time.

Firefox displayed it but the blade looked like metal to me not ceramic.

Exactly. Ceramic does not sparkle when put under light. For those who own a Fallkniven sharpening stone, you can see it, the ceramic side is perfectly massive, and doesn't sparkle at all. It's only a cheap finish looking like ceramic. The very small grooves on the grind are... the traces of the grinding machine! The "maker" didn't even polish the blade!

Don't get fooled. A ceramic knife will never be 30 bucks.

It showed up for me now, too. Maybe there was a glitch with the server last night.

The blades look ceramic to me. I doubt they are significantly different from Kyocera blades, if Kyocera doesn't actually make them for him. These blades are not suitable for EDC. They are inherently brittle. The blades themselves will snap under circumstances steel would not notice. The edges will chip. Unless you have the specialized equipment and expertise, you cannot sharpen ceramic blades at home, although according to the site, 1500 grit paper will do it.

I haven't done it myself, but many people have posted that they sharpened Kyocera and Mad Dog's ceramic blades without much difficulty. Just don't bear down hard. Diamond is recommended but not required.
