Was thinking... these guys do top notch work coating guns, would the coating work well on a knife?

Yep, already asked 'em a couple weeks ago. $35.00 minimum charge for all Metacol III applications. Never actually seen the finish in person though. They are recommended by H&K so they must be pretty good. The few e-mails that I've had with the guy seems real nice. Said Metacol III can be applied to ANY metal.

Well you're way ahead of me then! Anyone thinking about doing it? $35 is really cheap. I might do it, but then I'd have to buy a BM47... I just bought a BM43BLK so it'll have to wait.

After mirror polishing my 42s blade I really didnt like it(I thought it made it look real cheap). I emailed these guys and they are going to do the Metacol finish on it for 25 bucks! Ill let you eveyone know how it turns out when I get it back...
