Looking for some helpful advice on how to sell a collection of over 30 knives with sleeves, Axes and throwing knifes I inherited..help!

As 91bravo implied, there are different membership tiers here, and different rules for those different members.

You need to buy a membership (I think it's Gold or above), before you can ask about how much an item is worth.

If you want general advice on selling, I would contact a local antiquities dealer or somebody who buys gold and used jewelry, if you know you can trust them.

If you don't have easy access to either of those, you could browse the online auction site and try to get a rough idea of what you can sell for.

Welcome to Bladeforums Sedonadesigns.

Here's my advice-

1. Post pictures of the collection here in this thread. Several items in each pic. The members here can then advise you as to whether they are actually worth selling, not the dollar value, just if it would be worth the effort to sell them. You don't need to purchase a membership to do this.

2. If the collection, or parts of it, are worth selling, then I would advise purchasing a Gold membership here. With a Gold membership or higher you can ask for valuations of knives, and you can sell them on this forum in the Exchange.

If you're interested in reading more about purchasing a Gold membership click on the "Paid Subscriptions" button in the blue banner across the top of the screen. A Gold membership is $30 for 365 days.

In order to post pictures on this forum, you either need to use a photo hosting site like Imgur.com, or, if you purchase a Gold membership you can post pictures directly from your computer.

If wanting to sell them as a bunch without worrying about it, find a consignment sale store or an estate sale company in your area. Those businesses will take a cut of the price, no pun intended, and especially with a consignment sale store, it can be a while before things sell.

For max profit, search e-bay for completed sales of the same models of knives in the same condition, and then set up an account, take photos, post descriptions, and put them up for bidding. Also a lot of work.

If you are wanting to sell them here, then you will need a paid membership, gold level or above, as others have mentioned.
