Went to check out my fav dealer www.knifeworks.com and saw a new knife company called Northwood Knives. Anyone know what they are? They seem to be the same variant as Bark River and the Marbles of old.

The Northwood Drop Point skinner looks to be the same knife as the Queen Premium Hunter drop point, and both are in D2 steel or a "chemical and functional equivalent". The Queen is a lot cheaper, though. Wonder if there is any tie in between the two?

Northwoods is run by Dave Shirley, the same person that produces the high quality Marbles MSA (as opposed to the "regular" Marbles Outdoors) knives.
I have one of the new Willows with a stag handle, and one of the maples. Both are excellent quality knives.
