Here's a new one I came up with. I'd like to have your thoughts on it. The blade is 1/4" thick and 5 3/8" long of 5160 steel. Handle is micarta with stainless pins. Thanks.

Very very nice. Dig the slight recurve. Looks like a real workhorse. Handles look great also. Don't think you would have a problem selling those.

I can't really tell if I like it, but if you send it to me I would be able to decide better.:):):)

Thanks guys! The picture sucks and it's not 100% done but I just took the picture as I was done for the day. I'll finish it up tomorrow and put my name on it. I'm really excited about this knife. I feel it's one of my best designs. The knife just feels right. It wants to be used! I'll probably give it a name and make more. Any suggestions for a name?

Redsnake, There is not much swell in it's thickness.. Only in the top and bottom.

Looks like it would be an excellent camp/utility knife. I like the overall shape a lot.

I agree that this is one clean, functional and handsome looking knife.
A name? How about Sidewinder, Rattler, or something likewise snakey. It's kind of snakeish by design I think.
Nice knife!

I like this one a lot, looks like a winner to me,very nice lines,of course i love recurves,i will keep my eyes out for it :thumbup:

Thanks again for all the great comments. I just completed the knife and put up better pictures of it.

Sooo...when do these go into production? Seems like you'll have 'em lining up at your door, Ray. I will be among them, to be sure.

Looks great. How long is the handle? Looks good in your hand but I don't know how big your mitts are...
