This is a new edc model I just started making, forged from 1080 with a nice exposed hamon line, these knives have an OAL 8 1/4" with a 3 5/8" cutting edge, the handle is fairly thin and they have a fantastic feel. Top handle is koa, bottom - box elder burl.
Let me know what you think,

Thanks for lookin,

Bill

Very nice, both of them. That Koa is really beautiful!

Kind regards,

Jos

Great knives, Bill.........perfect size for an edc.

Looking Good.

I hope you don't mind my posting these Bill. Chuck shared his photo site link, but I don't think they have been formally posted here.
Not only are these two beautiful and well executed but both are extremely comfortable in hand.

You really have an eye for what looks good. I like your new EDC model very much and the bowie and hunter are exquisite. Great work.

Really really nice knives. Those edc's are proportioned beautifully and I like the darkness of the blade against the wood scales.
The Bowie and Hunter are fantastic too. That hunter is just perfect.

Very nice indeed,i like the flared handle,as usual beautifull finish &temper line, that KOA
is hot,of course i'm partial living in HI.

Thank you everyone for your comments.

Kevin, Thank you for posting those and please feel free to post them anywhere you'd like, I always appreciate your opinions and comments on knives posted on this forum and for you to take the time to post my work is very humbling, thank you.

Bill

I like those EDCs Bill.

As for the pics that Kevin posted -- It looks like you have been holding out on us :)

Seriously, they all look great!

Take care
Brian

very nice, Bill. These knives stand on their own, despite what I'll say next.

Have you ever considered a wharncliff style of blade for an edc? Not that you asked, but I like my edc straight knives in less than 3" of blade and with very little belly.
These babies look like they'd make for very fine hunting or bushcraft tools.

Bill, your 52100 EDC's have been big hits for many of us and these look like they will follow suit. I really like the new design. Look forward to handling one!

Thanks guys for the nice words.

Lorien - I've never made any wharncliff blade style knives, but I'll gladly make whatever anyone is interested in.

Joe- thank you, that 52100 edc has been popular, but I wanted to change these up just a little to tell them apart, I did some cutting with the box elder one to see how it would handle and it was comfortable in all positions, it will be ideal for many chores including field work on that once in a lifetime buck.;)

Thanks again,

Bill
