At what price point should we, as consumers, expect a knife that is just about perfect cosmetically and functionally? Nothing is ever perfect but close.

At what price point would you send a knife back for warranty if it does not meet the above criteria?

i have high expectations of everything i buy, or i wouldn't buy it.

some things, like gritty action, or sticky liner lock, are normally easy fixes and just require a breaking in period. these don't really concern me.

if the flaw were cosmetic and bothered me, i would send it back.

The simple answer is: the more it costs, the better it should be.
There are no strict 'levels' for me.

At whatever point it bothered me, is the point I'd send it back. If it doesn't bother me, no need to waste time and or money on something that doesn't need it.

I wouldn't know. I've never found something I couldn't deal with.

I'm not real fussy about cosmetics.

$385.00. The price of a large Sebenza. Honestly, the Sebbie is the only folder I've ever purchased that is pretty much perfect in terms of manufacturing. Some may gripe about the design, but the execution is fantastic.

Start making and selling knives. Once you have sold your one thousandth flawless knife, you should expect perfection from any knife that cost as much or more than what your knives sold for.

Out of all knives, only one is perfect.
