Well, this one has kept me quiet for quite a time :)
I had an idea for trying to come up with a new way of creating a new filework pattern and it ended up with a bit of a complicated handle construction.

The blade is 01 steel, 4mm thick, 5.5 inches long
The overall length is 10 inches

The scales are from a very old piece of figured ebony and the bolsters, pins
and filework are nickel silver.

The sheath is 3.5 veg tanned leather with a bit of carving

Thanks for looking

Chris :)

That filework is EXCEPTIONAL! I would have thought the handle was ironwood by looking at it. Nice knife and sheath.

Pleasure seeing it.

Love the sheath, filework and handle material, but do not care for the shape of the handle. It seems blocky and excessively large in comparison to the blade, IMO.

I can see a few hours in that file work alone .the whole knife is very nicely done I like it very much
