I few weeks ago I found a website to charles May knives. His style of knives appeal to me because they are reasonably priced and made for use instead of as a piece of art.

I sent him an email. He called me the next day and we talked about his knives and his knife site. I ordered a knife from him.

This past Monday I got a call from Charles again. This time he told me that my knife was ready and he would ship it. I got it on Wednesday. Wow! A beautiful knife! I would post a pic or two of it, but I cannot figure out how to do it in this forum. I am very impressed.

Granted, I do not own a lot of hand made knives, but I am sure to own more of Charles May's knives. He is a nice guy doing excellent work (in my opinion).

I am extremely happy with the knife Charles made for me. He is super nice to deal with as well and his prices are really fair.

You can see some of his work here:

Enclosing a pix of the knife he made for me. It is the knife that is on the opening page of his website. By the way, I am not the photographer of the pix I am enclosing. It was done by someone with far more photo skill than myself.

Check out Charles May...you won't be sorry.

I've been eyeing Charles' knives that he's been selling here and while I haven't held one, based on the quality the pictures show, as well as the look of the sheaths, I think you'll be kicking yourself in a year if you don't buy one now. The work looks great and I think the knives are underpriced by a long shot, judging by what I can see in the pics. Buy now, or cry later, I say! Of course, as I write this I just blew all my dough on knifemaking supplies, but if you have the $$$ I think you'll get a lot of value from one of Charles' knives. Enuf butt kissing for now, I think you get the idea!
